Privacy Policy
SnipTrove is a local-first desktop app. We designed it so your snippets never have to leave your device.
What we store
Your snippets, folders and settings live in a local database on your machine. We never receive, upload or sync them.
Licensing data
To activate or validate a license, the app sends your license key, purchase email and a hashed device fingerprint to our licensing service (licensing.tightblocks.com). That is the only data that leaves your device, and only when you activate or during periodic validation.
Payments
Purchases are processed by our payment provider, who handles your billing details under their own privacy policy. We never see your full card data.
No tracking
There is no telemetry, no analytics and no advertising in the app.
